Exposure to air, moisture, and touch can cause it to patinate over time – this is not a defect but perfectly normal and a sign of genuine quality. If you prefer it shiny, you can easily polish it with a cloth. If you love patina, just let it be.
Each product is made to order. Handmade takes time. But it's worth it. Allow up to 4 weeks, though often it's faster ;-)
CAjA uses only vegetable-tanned, non-coated Nappa leather. In rare cases – for example, heavy rain combined with a chemical tick collar – slight color changes may occur. If you're unsure or have questions, feel free to contact us directly.
